Shining bright in the dark skyline, this lighthouse bookmark leads home-bound travelors to the meaning of their name. This fascinating lighthouse background was made from an actual lighthouse photograph in deep fog at Light Station at Pigeon Point, near San Francisco. The light is lit once a year with five kerosene lamps through 24 rotating Fresnel lenses. During the later 1970s, the lighthouse was guarded by an 800 pound pig named Lester. The original photo was generously provided by kadisudhi.

The lighting and color on this framed name meaning print of a lighthouse is just beautiful. Trees frame the backlit blue sky and the towering brick lighthouse stands straight and true. This may be my favorite WidePlaque design for lighthouses, and features a beautiful blend of green and brick-orange on the names, with the meanings in brown and the verses in dark blue.
